In Hanoi, you may like to try the New Century...looks like the closest you may find to salsa and kindof lively..just got back yesterday after 8 extremely boring days.
A little friendly advise here...food is good and okay but watch the ice in your drinks....half my congregation went down with tummy problems from the ice and we were in 5 stars accomodations!!!

Viet music is so boring that I had ever listening to compare to Laos, Thai, Khmer, or Malay musics. They got the beats and makes you want to move.
