Why is does Elizabeth think she is responsible for williams death?

Because she has encouraged her husband, Victor, in his pursuits, namely the resurrection of the monster. She feels that since she pushed him to affect the necessary scientific experiments, that she in part was responsible. She feels like Lady Macbeth. Though she did not perform the act of murder, she was an accomplice.
