I think people that don't understand are persuaded by Liberal politicians. Wow, how quickly people have forgotten 9/11. That's why we're at war, so it doesn't happen again. Thanks for putting this question up!

The reason people are against this war is because it can not be won just like we can not win the war on drugs. If people want to get high they will find a way to get high. Just like if one person wants to terrorize the majority of the population they WILL find a way. Just look at the Oklahoma City bombing, it was a few people that did this, not an entire country. This war is pointless because there will never be a winner. If we were fighting an army of another country there would be a decisive winner. One side would concede and the other side would be victorious. There is not one single country that has terrorism, it is worldwide thats why it can not be stopped. There will always be someone who's heart is filled with hate and wants to take it out on someone else. Thats why this world is full of murderers, rapists, and terrorists.

I agree that it's a war on terror... but right now... we're sitting ducks...
terrorist leaders are SITTING in other countries, sending foot soldiers to kill our soldiers.....
so, we're just there waiting to be attacked...
why don't we go after the leaders, who are the ones making the plans and funding these actions and end it...
kill Osama and al-queda leadership... and they can't take over Iraq with no money, training or new recruits... and those are the things that Osama provides...
we didn't just take France and just sit there and not go after Hitler... if we would have, he would have constantly pounded us with his troops from Germany... and that's exactly what terrorists are doing in Iraq...
if the U.S. doesn't fight a smart war... they won't win... and none of this will matter... and right now... the war you're supporting, is being done very poorly... by almost all accounts, in every way possible...

You can't defeat terrorism with a conventional military. All a conventional military does is help create new terrorists. The War on Terror can only be won with US & Foreign intelligence agencies, Homeland Security & US Special forces. Or 400,000 US troops in Iraq which will never happen.

No, this war is about control of Iraq oilfields. Iraq was not a terrorist threat to us.
Mr. Bushes action has bred more terrorists than ever existed....they are flooding into Iran, Iraq and the middle east from all over the world.
Quit drinking the Kool Aid and start reading...

Because, if this were the war on terror, we would be fighting in Afghanistan-where the country who harbored the terrorist who attacked us on 9/11 is! Boy, I can't believe that Bush has you fooled! And here I thought that the American people were starting to understand that this war was wrong-I guess I was wrong. Open your eyes!!

Because, sweetheart, Iraq is not a war against terrorism, it is a war to keep money in our commander-in-chief's pocket.
Terrorism is not a threat like we have seen before. It does not originate from one single nation-state, it is an ideology that is spread through various cells throughout the world.
We need to stay in Iraq now because we are so involved, but it is not about terrorism.

Because liberals do not believe in evil. They think the terrorists are misguided. They believe we must have done something to them. They listen to the garbage the liberal media feeds them. They also emotionalize all the deaths. They do not understand that people die in war.
