I am wanting to play a presentation that is on my laptop on a TV. I was able to get the video on the TV by using a S-video cable, but how can I get the sound to the TV?

Thanks for everyone's responses. I was able to get the sound to work, as a result of you comments. I can't believe I was so dumb!

The S-video only send the video signal out to the TV. You need to gete a cable to connect the audio from the laptop 's headphone jack (very few of the laptops have anything other than that) into the audio in jack (which should be next to the s-video connection fo the TV. It is a mini plug (1/8" stereo) to 2 RCAs cable. You can find these at most electronic stores. Before you connect the cable make sure that the volume from your laptop is not muted and that you can hear it from you laptop speakers. Then plug in the cable in the headphone jack (the sound from the laptop speakers will go away) and you should be able to hear it from the TV.
