Unless he is an exceptional & above average, borderline Genius then YES YOU SHOULD! That's just to many kids for any of them to get the attention they need! It's like they expect them to pass but won't provide them with the means! Some kids go unnoticed and just slip through the crack!

I don't know HOW well, the 10 year old is able to cope in a class of 50 students! However, as a former "substitute" teacher, I noticed that students always to better with less 'competing' students. Also, as a tutor, I teach students on a 'one-on-one' basis (and they improve DRAMATICALLY in just one or two lessons)! That's because I can spend a little time and figure out what the child needs to advance...(something that probably isn't happening in a large group of FIFTY children)! ~Hope this helps!

Holy cow! I pray that you do not live in the United States. If you do, this is a sad, sad world. I grew up in a small town and some of my classes did good to have 20 kids in them. I feel that the personal attention that was given to me by teachers made me as successful and intelligent as I am. I am not claiming to be "the most successful or intelligent" only saying that the personal attention contributed to it. Move your child, file complaints with the school board, write your governor, mayor, senator... the president... and anyone else you can think to write. This is the most horrible thing I have heard. I went to a state university and never had classes that large in my twenties. I cannot imagine how a 10 year old can focus in such an environment. This is sad... truly sad.

yes, a class of 50 is way too much for any teacher to handle even if they have an assistant. Even though 20 would still be difficult, obviously your child would have some more attention from the teacher, which every child needs.

yes. In a class of 50 the teacher is too distracted to meet the individual students academic needs all at once.

Yes I would, the more attention they can get the better. Schools that are too crowded don't give special attention to the children. In a smaller class they can focus on who is learning quickly and who needs extra help. Most private schools charge for this so if you can take advantage, I would. It can only help your child.

32-37 is what I submit to in ideas as that become the fashion of desks the rooms ought to carry. We did have order, yet decrease back then scholars were a lot extra respectful of their elders and instructors so administration wasn't an challenge via the indisputable fact that is today. If we did disrupt the lecture room, a visit to the principals place of work become so as, and a decision made to homestead. I feared answering to my father better than the powerful. We discovered because it become anticipated people to pay interest and study. We were no longer given the alternative. i imagine my instructors did a mind-blowing pastime and that i wish i ought to thank each and each one. my intense college had tenth via 12th grades and we had over 3,000 scholars My graduating type become 854.
