No, the author didn't think Holden Caulfield would like the idea of Catcher In The Rye being turned into a movie so he didn't sell the rights to it. : )

I actually have a copy of James Joyce's Ulysses on DVD (believe it or not?) So anything is possible?

I don't think so though because it is not old enough yet, maybe someone will though after Salinger dies? It certainly is worth it!
