Try going to your sound card manufactuer's site and see if there is a more recent driver. In fact, if you go to "right mouse button click" My computer and go to properties/hardware and click on sound. There - there should be a place that says "check the internet for drivers".

If you have XP, you can go to Windows Update and go to custom and it will try to find drivers for your hardware.

If you have an available PCI slot the easiest thing would be to just get a new sound card. Compusa has some as low as $30
