The thing is, anybody can say something funny and anybody who hears it can repeat it later. Nothing wrong with that.
If you want to CLAIM something, such as a joke or an idea, you have to get a copyright on it. And you didn't do that.
When you throw it out there, it's up for grabs, so now it belongs to Mr. Mencia. And he made you feel famous. Cool, huh??

You should happy that he did your joke at all, besides who said it was your joke to begin with. He could atleast said that he got the joke to you. I could use a good laugh send me the joke. If you want to call him out how about making up a joke about him and e-mailing to all your friends and have them do the same.
Here is another idea put your joke about Mencia on Q&A in the joke area so we can all enjoy it.
