We die, we simply...... die.

You are going to die and you have to die, what is that?

You came into this world to die, We have to die. You are going to die, what is that?

Why was I brought here?

We can no longer be sure that death wont be eradicated like small pox has been. The day is not far off when ones identity would be immortalised and a person can continue to experience life may be not in the same body but in a clone or another body into which his identity and experiences would be transplanted.
Until then it is OK to work towards fulfilling ones responsiblities and make the best of the opputunity we have rather than think of dying. Once I die and cease to feel what I leave behind is of no consequence to me.

Do not know why we were brought here but dying is part of life and that is that.

My son died 9 months ago, my sister 7 months, my other son at age 25 , Father, Mother was murdered, Brother, cousins, friends
the list goes on and on.

Having gone through so much sadness everyone could not believe how I kept it together

Now left raising two small grandkids and fighting off their crack
head mother...who keeps trying to die

I still keep on trucking...why?? for the kids and death will
come again and again

Part of life and there is nothing we can do to stop it but keep
getting up each day and carry on as usual

I think about death all the time and not afraid just hope it won't be until the kids are older

There is no answer to your question

You have to make the most of the time you have. You are going to be miserable if you spend the rest of your life worrying about dying!
Yeah life is a terminal disease. Your are going to die one day. But think about the fact that you got the chance to live. You didn't come into the world to die,you came into the world to live a life! So make a mark while you're here!

I ask this same question once in a meditation. The answer came clear as a bell.

It said I have placed you here to learn the true meaning of Love. What ever it was that was answering then told me something that really set me back. It said that I felt the way I did about certain people because I did not understand the true meaning of love. I protested and said that I did my best to love all of the people who were deserving of love.

It replied "yes that is your misunderstanding. You see love as something that you dole out in tiny little portions here and there to people who you have judged to be worthy of it. This is not love at all, it is only judgment". This stopped me dead in my tracks. I suddenly realized that what it was saying to me was true. This realization brought me to tears. It went
on and told me, "You treat love as though there is some shortage of it. It is not something that you can run out of. The more love that you give, the more love that there is in the world. Its that simple. The only way that there can be a shortage of it is if you hoard it and keep it to yourself."

It went on to explain, that "this is what Jesus was trying to tell you when he asked you to turn the other cheek, to judge not and to love your neighbor. He made no exceptions in these things that he requested of you. Why are you making exceptions, and judging some as worthy of love and others as not? Jesus fully intended for you to apply this love that you are to all, in a universal manner without any judgment of any sort". By this time the tears Were flowing freely. I was crying because for the first time in my life I Understood what the message Jesus left for us in the bible actually meant.

This has become my truth. I can't say what yours is for sure, but I have a feeling that it is probably similar.

Love and blessings

Forget that. I'm trying to live eternally, so when I die, I'll be happy (not to die, but when I'm dead). The world will keep on spinning on its axis, and I came to Earth because I had a purpose and a goal to reach.

We all have a particular work which we understand as our responsibility , we do not come in this world to die, we come in this world to understand our responsibility and to perform it.

If you does your responsibility it will balance , balance the humanity!

Every thing is attitude , like when a person see to glass half filled with water he can also say like this that glass is half empty , this is only upto the eyes of the viewer that in which way he wants to see the world , half empty or half filled with water, this is only an example.

It makes me feel a little like "what's the point?" But might as well enjoy the ride while I am here, and hope I find out the meaning to it all afterwards.

Yes we did come to this world to die but that is not all we have a sole purpose- to love and serve God. However, God makes each of us to have a different way of serving him our "secondary" purpose I believe is to find that certain way to serve God, whether it is being a missionary to a rocket scientist.
