If you have made it to 100,000 miles change it. If not wait until such time, the manual will probably tell you 50k, but my experience has been 100k, assuming you aren't a lead foot dragraceing fool.

You should visually inspect your belt and look for any major wear. Lots of cracks especially on the top of the belt is a sign of needing a new belt. Cracks on the bottom are normal for a belt. Most of the time you can notice visually when a belt is getting worn. Be warned that if that timing belt breaks then you could be in for some major engine repair.

Each car maker uses different intervals. But a round about mileage would be 80k. Some say earlier and some say later. Your owners manual would tell you. If not call and ask the dealer or a independent shop or both.

Usually, the manufacturer suggests every 80,000 miles. Check with AutoZone, they can look it up in the computer and tell you exactly. Or you can call an auto repair shop and they can tell you.
