Bottling everything is not good for your health in general, both mentally and physically. The best thing is to tell someone- if you dont feel like telling a friend, even telling a perfect stranger online who has no way of knowing who you are can help. Another thing is writing- writing in a private journal on paper or online, or pretending as if your writing this to a good friend, but never showing them unless you want. I know through experience how simply writing all your feelings down helps more than you could believe.

It's different for everyone. Do you have access to a counselor that you could talk things out with? Or perhaps a pastor at your church? You don't give your age, or the exact nature of your problem, but you may benefit from anti-depressants, as well.
You may want to see a doc about a depression analysis, and then make arrangements to see a counselor. If you don't have insurance, most cities have a mental health department that will work with you on a sliding payment scale.

Honey, I kept everything bottled inside for 18 years-anger and hate, happiness and joy, I could not talk to anyone. Always yelling and confusion around me.
When I got married, I unleashed on my husband. When he'd push my buttons (and he DID PUSH MY BTTONS ON PURPOSE), I'd beat the sh*t out of him. It was very damaging to me as a person to hold everything in. I am now a pretty happy 35 year old woman, but I went through hell to get here. Holding in your emotions usually affects your self esteem.. I'd consider therapy before the rest of your life is afflicted in the future by how you're dealing with it right now.

Thats what happened to me before. It was so embarrassing. I had been thinking of a million things at once, and out of no where, in the middle fo class, I started balling out crying. I had to go to the guidance counselor, who sent me home. I was so embarressed. I dodnt hear the end of it for weeks! But it hasnt happend since. Now i go on this blog spot. i dont even care who reads some of the stupidest crap I write about on there. no one judges you on it. Well, almost no one, theres always some jerk. i go to this site, Absolutepunk.net. Im "magsisonline" if you ever want to look me up.

Eventually too much stuff will be bottled up. I strongly suggest you tell someone that you can confide in everything you have in you and if you cant then lock yourself in a room and just start crying and write down everything in a journal or something.

Take up some excercise and yoga: they help to ease the release of stuff. Go to a therapist, scream into a pillow, get out into nature by yourself, and make sure you have good friends around

Do you know what section you put this question under? It depends on who you are, and it sounds like You just need to have a good talk with a good friend.

yes it will come out and you will cry but after all is said and done you will feel a lot better about yourself and won't be hurting anymore so just let all of your bottled feelings out and be free...
