Of course they do; you can hardly expect them to just absorb information by osmosis. If you are implying that microbiologists are primitive, I must wave a red flagellate! Several of them have their own psuedopodcasts.

Only if they go on the Paramecium plan. I know where you can get a good deal on Pseudo-Ipods, but you have to go on the Prime-ordial contractile vacuole. It's cilia to go any other way. They have looked at communication via osmosis, but that was a Eukaryote plan that just had no structure.
