an opportunity to make "interest" on my money by depositing it in a bank. I love cash and the look of it, the feel of it, and the power of it. So if the USA is a free country, why can't I carry as much of it around as I please? I don't need police to "defend" me from robbers. I have a right to defend myself against attackers. Why then???

You do have the right to carry your money around. You're right. You have the right to defend yourself as well. What in the heck are you talking about?

You bite off your nose to spite your face. So what if "strangers" make money (interest) off your money, you will also earn interest on your money so the strangers are paying you.

The police have better things to do than to watch you trapse around with money. If you want to be the cheese in a mousetrap, have at it.

You can but I dont know why you would want to do that. Why run the risk of loosing it or getting it stolen cause you like the look of it. I say if that is what you want to do then go for it and see how far it gets you.

Let me know the next time you have large amounts of cash on you and I will beat you and rob you and take the feeling of power out of your pocket and crush your balls.

Knock yourself out. Just don't be surprised when someone else does exactly that to you.
