If your looking for a in depth manual I'd go to a Dealership for sure. Haines and Chiltons books are out there at your local auto parts stores.

a nissan shop manual can be purchased from a nissan dealership. try looking on ebay for any being sold. if you want a more generic manual, try a chilton's or haynes guide. they aren't written with great detail, but if you are mechanically inclined, they will lead you down the right path 95% of the time.

You'd have to order it from O'Reilly's or AutoZone, and they are about $75. You can get a Chilton or Hayne's manual for cheaper, they are usually in the store.

The dealer should offer one, but they are usually very expensive ($80+), I would recommend a Haynes manual, you can get them at most auto parts stores for about $20 and are good for most "in depth" projects.

Man I have to be the cheese ball bastard on this one. Go to th public library and look in the reference section. Foto copy the pages you think you might need. Take them home. MITCHELL HAS THE BEST REPAIR MANUALS. Well for the average joe any way.But remember that it was written by an egg head and all diagnostics take time and research. be careful.
