Not all of the threads are sticky. The "spokes" are stable, and unsticky, and the spiral is much thinner, and sticky. the spider knows which parts are which and only walks on the unsticky threads.
Of course, if they accidentally did get caught, they can cut their own threads - they do that anyway while building. Their prey animals can't do that.

this is stolen but it answers your question..... Spiders have two special tricks that keep them from sticking. The first trick is knowing where to walk. Many spiders make sticky strands of silk that trap insects. But they make other strands that aren't sticky. As they crawl around on their webs, they just avoid the sticky strands.
The other trick is pretty "slick." Spiders rub their feet over special glands around their mouths. These glands make an oily goo that oozes out onto the spiders' feet. The slippery stuff helps them get unstuck if they make a mistake and step on a sticky strand
interesting question I asked it when I was about 10 after I watched a spider catch flies and other bugs I was throwing in his web.

Spiders dont get caught because there are tiny drops of stickyness on there web and the know where the drops are and avoid them. and i think they have pads on there feet but im not sure about that.

Same way the acid in your stomach doesn't burn your stomach. Our stomachs have mucus, and the spiders, (I've heard), have a coating on their bodies. Or...something along those lines?
