Why do so many people seem to still have a problem with kids/teens being on this site?

Sure there are some annoying ones but alot of them arnt. And if you go on in the daytime all the adults are acting like "kids". So whats your problem people?

i dunno..but they let a few annoying ones make it seem like the rest of us are just as stupid and immature.....but not all us of are!and good point about the questions in the daytime!

P.S. i don't think they should take away this sight 4 teens b/c it seems like a place for teen girls to turn if they are uncomfortable talking to friends, family, ect about problems in life....you all know the questions I'm talking about. Not everybody was as lucky as I to be told by mom about girly stuff (how to use make-up, famine issues, ect). Plus, sometimes if you ask friends for advice on how cute this dress really is, they may lie or make it seem better than what it really is BUT on here, everybody is honest b/c they aren't afraid to hurt your feelings b/c they don't know u. Also, it is a good homework help site.

I can't speak of everyone but maybe it is this; there is alot of flirting, drug references and sexual references in P&S, and it could be fear of influencing a young person inappropriating or even worse, flirting with someone under age.

For me, I have seen some questions and answers on here and thought, "I hope a kid doesn't see this" (the one about sex with a horse springs to mind) just because it is inappropriate for childern. Also, I would hate to give a "cute" answer or answer a question with a double entendre only to find out later the person was under age. I actually had someone flirt with me but it was later revealed to be a kid goofing around (I hope). Anyway, I don't mind "kids" on the site as long as they are upfront about their age so people can approach them appropriately and answer their questions in a meaningful way so as to help and not hinder or confuse.

I hope this makes sense as it is hard to explain.

I'm 12 and if you take a look at my profile on y answers you'll see that there is at least one helpful teenager on Y answers (me).

But also the question, maybe because some people my try to abuse the helpfulness by asking for like all their homework questions, and also there is alot of stuff to do with sex and what not.

well I think that people are annoyed by the fact that they tend to ask the same question a million times and are so immature! But then again like you said most adults on here also act like kids

I don't have a problem with anyone being on this site except when they use inappropriate language. This site is only a reflection of what is going on in every ones life. So, you should take most of the comments with a grain of salt, so to speak.
We all have the choice when we see something we feel is inappropriate to report that abuse. I do it and so should you.

I don't have one. I think it's GREAT that kids can come here to ask questions and get (mostly) honest answers.
One little Tiny problom I have is when the kids want you to do thier homework for them. Or if they get rude and nasty with other questioners.But adults can be equally rude and disrespectful. And we wonder where they get it from huh??
