They wouldn't just throw up.
They'd throw up, eat their vomit and throw it up again.

The form of government has not changed one iota! Look at the Declaration of Independence, notice who the signers are, all rich men. They held their wealth by slaves, indentured servants, etc. They appointed their friends to positions of power. Did tax people, put people in prison for failure to pay debts, not the wealthy who could borrow from friendly bankers, but the poor who could not pay their way out, at times used prisoners for free labor. No, I don't think they would be a bit surprised at the way government is being run today, same as then!

They would blow projectile chunks. There was no such thing as partisanship back then. Everyone was united by a common cause, freedom from Britain. The issue that has caused politics to become a dirty game now is that they've convinced the American people that they can't be united while they disagree, which is very dangerous. It results in politicians getting into office and a position to climb into bed with big business to get rich by simply disagreeing with the current office holder well enough.

No! They would go on a f-ing killing spree. They would be hijacking planes, bombing banks and busses, killing irs agents, assasinating congressmen, and printing newsletters to start a revolution. Thats what they did the first time someone took away their freedom and taxed them to death, why wouldn't they do it now? Washington was a terrorist then and he would be one today. Don't let the cia and the five guys that control our media fool you. This is NOT a free nation anymore. I bet this answer even gets wiped off the board. The war on terrorisim is a war on freedom! Its the last means to fight for freedom. When anyone says they want to end terrorism what they are really saying is they are ready to take over the planet and they want to eliminate the last means of resistance. Read the book 1984.

Well, the world is very different now, TV computers, airplanes, cars, factory farms, huge corporations, etc.
For the most part they were pretty liberal folks, reading Adams and Jefferson's letters it seems they would be very much against the likes of Bush's policies and of course his horrible war.
But otherwise they would largely approve, they had some very bitter battles themselves. The gloves came off after Washington's first term and became so Nasty during Adam's that they passed the Alien and sedition act, which sealed Adam's fate as a one-term president.

Sad isn't it,,,So sad that we have come to where we are in such a short period of time. Wonder where it will all be in another 200 years????

I think they would recogize immediately the very institutions they had established and deem that they had done their jobs well in preserving the power.
Who I would expect to throw up would be you, if you saw what the founding fathers had done to the country then.

Absolutely. America was founded by people with a deep belief in God. Not atheists. They just didn't want a state religion like Islam or at the time the Church of England. The liberals have distorted the constitution to unbelievable lengths. The two party system is being prostituted by BOTH sides.
P.S. if For Butter of Worse comments on this question please keep in mind he is a bitter Frenchman jealous of our freedom.
