thin black lining around eyes then thick red around the eyes is cool, also bright red eye shadow, with black eyeliner!

Red eye shadow can work for just about anyone, but works BEST on those with light colored eyes . It also depends on what you are wearing, where you are going, and what time of day it is . In the day time for a formal event I would suggest that you apply with feather light strokes because after all you don't want to end up looking like bozo . But if you are a night owl then you can go as dark and deep as you want to , because at night the lighting will give the effect of a lighter shade . Again it depends on where you are going, if you are going to a club then I say go CRAZY ! but for a dinner date you need the feather light strokes . It depends on your skin tone, and the shade of red. But I guess I'm going to give you a biased opinion, because I love red!
P.S. I think the person above me may be narrow-minded. Like I said it depends on the skin tone and shade, but I usually don't wear it.

I use it a lot personally.
I apply black eyeliner/mascara/and shadow...then put some red over the liner on bottom and top.
It makes me look dead with my pale skin.
I love it.

on some people, it looks great!
for others, not so much!
personally, i don't think i could wear RED eyeshadow like the blood red i'm thinking about- but like a brown/bronze color, i could do!
its great that u love red eyeshadow and can wear it! :)

I think if you use it during night with a combination of black and nude lips is really pretty! Try red eyeliner!!!

It would depend on how you wear it. If you come off as Mimi off the Drew Carey Show, I'd tell ya to skip it. But if its worn with style and grace, then go for it.

i think a really bold person should wear makeup. it's a statement, and you sometimes get bad attetion for it.

red i shadow is ok as long as you don't wear it at nite.(it makes you look like you have a red face.)
