Sometimes, I feel that I am a " racist" towards white people because of the thoughts that I have when I go out. For example: One day, I was shopping in a clothes boutique, and there were maybe five or six women in the store with me. Three were white, and the other two were black. Now, I happen to notice that the three " white girls" were shoplifting. I saw that they had lifted some jewelry, and lipstick, not things that were of any real value. Before I could make up my mind whether or not to tell the sales woman about it, she had already seen them. When Security arrived in the store, the police automatically headed over to the two black women and started asking them questions and interrogating them. I had to intervene and tell them that it wasn't them who were stealing, it was the three " Caucasian" women. They didn't believe me at all, and instead, they decided on having it confirmed by the " white" sales lady. Only then did they believe that it was the three white women, and not the other two African American Women" I can honestly say that I am not a racist in the term of hating someone because of their skin color. What I am a racist about is the situations and the circumstances that arise because of it.

Sadly the answer is Yes. Not saying I myself consider any race less than another but in the end its just human nature to judge others. No matter how liberal and I am very liberal. A person is some how a racist in some way or other. Mostly they do not realize it. No one wants to feel like a racist or claim to be one unless they thrive on the destruction of others. I believe you have your true racist and your real people with flaws of judgment. I am sure you have met nice people who out of the blue say something offensive to one race or another. You pause and think wow I never knew this person was like this but the evening goes on. You yourself no matter how righteous you think you might be have probably caused someone to pause also. It is human nature to judge. Is it right ? Hell No but it happens and that is just way it is. If things was perfect this question would not even been asked. So to answer this question I must say I try not to ever be racist but that is only on the outside. Stereotypes have spread so wide that if your say white in a so called bad neighborhood lived in by mostly blacks (not to say there are not bad places lived in by mostly whites) and lost some fear crosses your mind so now you too are racist because the thought is there. Racism is not all out loud words and actions but thoughts also. I personally reach out to other races as much as possible at the same time not trying to force myself to become another race or the said stereotype. If people just got to know each other on a personal merit than preconceived notions the world would be a better place.

Nope. Someone I once knew said that there is only ONE race, the human race. We mistake culture and ethnicity for race. Therefore there is really no point in being racist. I think many fail to realize that.

How come when I answered yes, my account was deleted? What is the problem? You believe in freedom of speech...unless you don't agree with the speech? Or is it the fact that I used the word *** ger? I see plenty of questions here about "white boys" and "crackers" but none of those racists get their accounts deleted. Must be a bunch of *** gers and fags running Yahoo.

Never intentionally. But to be honest, I can't say I have never judged people by first impression. I might shy away from a dirty homeless person, or be scared of the large man standing alone in the shadows. But if you are only referring to skin color, than I can say it doesn't much matter.

A little bit.

When I walk around the neighborhood, groups of kids (black) throw batteries and fireworks at me, and call me cracker.

Over the summer someone stole a watermelon from the garden. I immediately jumped to the conclusion that a black person did it, even though I don't really know.

That's pretty much the extent of my racism, but it's still an example of racial prejudice.

Nope. All are individuals...all unique...different colors, looks, cultures...We are all about variety...so I really don't understand the 'raciest' stuff and I find it very silly when a person is. I can see not liking an individual because of their temperament or personality...but because of their race ? That's just silly to me.
