Does the computer work off the adapter without the battery inserted? If it doesn't then there is either a charger or computer problem. If the computer does work it may be that the battery connection is bad and may need repair.
Does the charge light come on when the battery is inserted? Does it indicate a full charge and turn off or change colors?
We need a lot more information.

Hi Jason N,
It still works being plugged in, it just won't charge? Well, at least you have a fairly new laptop. You just have to keep it plugged in. I would imagine that you can take it in to a local computer repair shop and ask them about it.

If the battery doesnt hold a charge then it needs to be replaced. Do not buy one from a retailer, look on ebay and you could save 50 or more bux, good luck.

Could be the internal charging connection. Does it work while connected to the AC plug? If so, then it probably is the charging system.

That means it is broken. It could be that something is broken on the inside or that a cable on the inside has come unplugged.
