Am I losing my mind or is it what I drink (everclear 95% with absinthe flavoring). I forgot my nightcap last night and the creatures have gone. Why do I feel like crying ?

I have just found a poor dead one. Looks like a bat of some sort. Pray with me for it. RP.

Hi Rose p. Since there seems to be a correlation between your drinking your nightcap and seeing the creatures, I would assume that the drinking is somehow causing you to see them. Perhaps the nightcap calms you down, and there is something which is somehow comforting about seeing the creatures. So when you are not seeing them, you feel like crying, because you must have gained some kind of comfort from their presence. I think that you might be trying to avoid reality. I don't mean this as an insult, but just a statement of fact. We all try to avoid reality at times. Reality can be harsh, and if we don't know how to deal with it in peace, we would understandably rather avoid it. What I would suggest - if this is the case - is to go see a counsellor or psychologist or psychiatrist. They may be able to help you find methods of dealing with the reality so that it does not cause you pain anymore. Then you could enjoy reality. Then you would cry when reality fled, instead of the creatures. Does that make sense?

Edit:
I didn't know what everclear and absinthe were, so I asked. Here is the link to the response: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvNqRMCmVVkSVFINYsh7uTzsy6IX?qid=20070303235356AAAdNZt
After having read the answers, I now am concerned about you drinking this mixture. Dear, I'm worried that you are so struggling with life right now, that you are willing to take this dangerous mixture, to help you feel better. Please do get some counselling for depression, if you are experiencing depression, which I think you may be. I've suffered that myself, and I know when I'm depressed, I do stupid things like take prescription pills together that I should not. You just get to the point that life feels so bad, you think it's worth the risk. But I have experienced that life is not bad, when we get the proper tools for living it. We feel bad, but life is not bad. And we can feel better, even though it may currently seem impossible. I hope you find all the means of gaining peace with life, so that you will not need dangerous drinks to feel better.

The schizophrenia response is actually pretty good. Two of my close friends are schizophrenic, it's more common than people realize, so it wouldn't hurt to go see a doctor, just in case.

Otherwise, I'd say it's your imagination / lasting effects from an acid trip.

I was reading about Jack the Ripper one time and drunk, I had also heard that Notridomaus prodicted the future by looking into a mirror, so i was drunk, anyways, I looked in the mirror and I hallucinated that I was one of the rippers victims once. Freaked me out.
