Pentium 4 is always better than Celeron because Pentium 4 came after Celeron. So Pentium 4 is much faster than Celeron.

The cache size is smaller on a Celeron. You will find a Pentium 4 is faster when multitasking or processing something like a movie. I have a Celeron 2.2 in my laptop and it barely will let me play Serious Sam. Celerons are meant for the "non-power" user.

The Pentium is way quicker in spite of MHz. See contained in the Celeron they bumped off such issues as precision floating element instruments and such so in spite of if the Celeron had a higher clock fee the Pentium will be in a position to calculate issues quicker.
