I had a good friend from Pakistan I used to come to house. Smoke hashish. he always served me tea and chapati.

Cool dude.

Ok FOOL!! I live in DC too and I have also been to LOVE-it is no longer called Dream. LOL Where have YOU been? I actually like LOVE on International night because its a step away from being GHETTO. It seems as if with black people, they dont go out to have a good time anymore. They just want to go out and find a dude with money and the guys want to just f*ck for the nite. Being from the islands, and enjoying other cultures, I like going on International night because people from different countries just like to have fun, and not look for who has the most money or whats in the pants. I know im generalizing here, but I have been out to different clubs, with the exception of clubs in the south like 112, etc..but the rest are just the same. I have also been to H20 on Fridays, thats ok too.

I have also been exposed to other cultures, thats why whenever there is racism around, It does not bother me. I eat Pho soup, sushi, and my native food; curry and all that. And I also been to Paper Moon in Georgetown ;)...

Luckily, I grew up in Germany. We used to travel a lot, and I got to see France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, and Belgium. Lots of immigrants in Germany, too, from Ireland, Scotland, England, Turkey. Now I am working at the airport, coming into contact with people from all over the world.
I guess, besides seeing all kinds of different ways of life, you also get a much more liberal attitude towards other cultures.

I took a wrong turn and ended up in East St. Louis once.
Being un-armed, I didn't stay to 'absorb' much culture.

On a positve note; I've been to Germany, Norway, Holland, and Mexico. Nice people in all those places.

I have lived in 11 states(Hawaii should be considered it's own country) and 4 countries, I would count that as exposed to other cultures.
