I'm planning to take either physchology or sociology, but I would like to know the career prospects and more about these two courses. How far do i have to study in order a secure a better prospect job?

Choose the one you feel more passionate about.

If you just choose for career prospects/jobs, you're giving away your power. If you choose psychology, you might become one of those many therapists who people complain about not really caring.

If you don't feel 100% passion (like, if you were rich you'd do the job for free), you're going to be in danger of getting tired & bored.... which is ultimately neither good for you, OR for your career.

Don't buy into all that money/job crap. Just because other people choose to live in fear, doesn't mean you have to.

Well either field you pursue will require at least a basic psych or soc class, so why don't you go ahead and take the basic class in each subject and see which feels right then you will be in a better position to narrow your choices down.

if i were you i would go with psychology but it is up to you. you need a Ph.D for that so you have to study until you can't study no more.
