You mean your business partner? Actually, you can record someone without their knowledge, however, not in the nude. You can record them doing stuff around the house, but you can't record them in the shower, on the toilet, or having sex.

In fact it is legal to record anyone in your home or on your property. In fact, it is legal to walk down a street and record any and everything. The question is deeper though and it has to do with ethics. What is legal is not always ethical or moral. Everyone thinks you have to flash a red light when recording to make it legal and that is not so. Many parents have used recording to prevent their children from committing suicide, planning a crime, or cheating in school. Age does not matter. It is situational ethics and the law allows it.

Legally...yes, but you should have consent to show it.
Morally, however...well, it's not a good idea. And I doubt you'd have a partner for much longer if they see it as an invasion of their privacy. You should always ask first.

if you put it on a website or sell it without them signing a release form as documentation, then yes, you are liable to being sued
but whatever you do in your house is your buisness, not mine and id like to keep it that way
