Definitely. Each age group should have it's own peer section. Just like television, the theaters, buying cigarettes, alcohol, etc. And to that person who congratulated yahoo for keeping it clean, if they want YA to be kids only, they should say so. I'm a mature, responsible adult who doesn't drink or smoke or do drugs, nor do I condone those things. But if I want to ask about and answer questions about mature subject matter, I should be allowed to do so without worrying about censorship. With all their nerdy cleverness, the YA team should be able to figure out a way to offer an adults only, restricted site. And where does the YA team draw the line among the x-rated avatar names, the sexy avatar pictures, and someone offering advice to another concerning something like abortion, or offering an R rated joke? The guidelines are too vague and the YA team won't give specific reasons for violations.

I think it would be great if kids had the option to ask each other questions in their own section. I think a lot of us adults get annoyed at homework questions, and the constant non-questions like, "I think Mikey likes me...?"

I don't think it is necessary because Yahoo does a good job keeping everything "clean" and free from adult content.
