Nope, if I did them wrong at some point, I expect it made them a "better" person.

So far I have made amends already to the people that I have hurt the most, i mean hurt that would have inflicted scar in their hearts.
It came to remind me when I saw the movie 'Flatliners'. I wouldn't want them to get back at me in the after-life. So I thought might as well ask sincerely for forgiveness, whether the fault is partly my responsibilty or mutual.

Every time I ever tried to do this they had either forgotten what I was apologizing for or had no idea what I was talking about, so I gave up.

Yes, and if I ever bump into them I will apologize to them for it. No matter how many years have past.

Are you kidding? The list is VERY long! At the top is my father, for reasons I'd rather not go into here, except to say that I could have been a better son to him.

Yes; knowingly and very often unknowingly we have wronged many innocent people. We have been wronged too by other people. I apologize to all who I wronged and forgive all those who wronged me or my family.
Let us move on.....

We all have hurt somebody but we also have been hurt. I think it somehow evens out. You just try to do the best you can don't hang on to the guilt.
