That once happend to me....I found the wallet it had about $100 , it was during a rough time in my life so I kept the money, I mailed the wallet with all its belongings. Of course I didn't put my return address.

Find the owner...if not possible take it to the police station. It is the way I was taught. I know no other way than to be honest. I could not take anything from that wallet that didn't belong to me cause my Mother taught me honesty. She was correct as always... Love you Mom!

The only choice for me is to try and find the owner or turn it in at the police station leaving my name and number so they may contact me if owner is found.I can't steal someone's hard earned money.

Try to find i.d. and get ahold of the owner. If I could not find them I would bring it to the police station.
That happened to my father and the gentlemen called my father and then sent it back to him with everything intact. It was pretty amazing to see how someone else really cared enough to return it.

If there's ID then I return it. If not, I turn it over to the police. Honest.

Take out the cash, put it in my pocket, and then throw the wallet out or back where I found it. Maybe I'd drop their liscence in the mailbox for them. But finders keepers suckah!!!

Okay have done this before look for a number and call to tell them i have there wallet.
I know kinda stupid but was able to sleep better after the facts.

Contact them & give it back. If you keep it, something bad will happen to you. And I just wouldn't feel right if I kept someone else's property. I SO wouldn't want anyone to do me that way.

finders keepers..take the money, but put the wallet in a bag and set it outside their house
