Why does Seattle not want NASCAR Racing and not like the NASCAR Culture?

NASCAR will bring a new culture, revenues and income from taxes. Seattle is supposedly a liberal society that is in favor of "embracing" new cutures regardless if they are legal or illegal?
You will find the Rap Culture there that has NOT been protested, illegal aliens who pose a drain on the tax base in regards to public services such as school, health, un-insured motorists, etc.
