You have to look at the message header to find the IP address of the first computer that submitted the email. To view the message header if Microsoft Outlook is your email editor, you can right mouse click on the message in your inbox and choose the word "Options". In the bottom of the dialog box that comes up, you should be able to see the complete path that the email took before it got to you. To find the owner of the original IP address, you can search for NSLOOKUP on google and find a website that will show you who owns the address. Generally, you IP address is owned by your ISP and they may be able to help you identify the sender. As far as steps you can take, you are probably limited to using an email filter or rule to block email coming from their domain or IP address.

Go into your e-mail options page. Usually there is an option somewhere to view MIME information. This will show you IPs when you open the email in the from/subject field.
