I have one friend who his parents aren't the nice to him. His gets very abused in his house. He will get beaten with a belt or hanger if he doesn't obey his parents to their standards. I am worried very much for him, but I also don't want him to move away and never see him again. What should I do?

Tell your parents or someone else that you trust. You can't keep letting your friend get hurt. If he moves away you won't be able to be there for him. Nobody will know that his parents are abusive and something BAD could happen. Sometimes people go too far. I don't know how serious this is, and I know it sounds like a broken record but you NEED to tell someone. Anyone, not a like child or anything but your parents or someone else who is an adult that you can trust.

Maybe talking to a teacher at school or a minister or priest would help. Tell them what you know. This is abuse and he shouldnt have to go through that. Dont just leave this situation. Don't stay out of it. Sometimes people want help but are afraid to make a move. Dont let anyone tell you **** happens. TELL SOMEONE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.

That's so wrong to get beaten like that. I'm worried for him too. If this keeps up you should tell one of your parents (don't mention his name though) and see what they think.

Tell your parents, or a teacher, or a school counselor immidiatly! Even if he has to move far away, it'll be for the best, and you'll see him again, please get help for him! He'll be very thankful in the future!

very sweet of you but unfortunatly you can only help someone who wants help, so if asks you for it then jump right in. But if not just be patient and wait, because if you get involved there are a lot of consequences!!!

good luck!

shitt happens. it's life. i know so many people who are in abusive houses. but the fact is, there isn't a whole lot we can do. just be there for him, care about him, remind him that he will get out of there eventually, and he just has to stick it out.
