just get a lighter green in contact color so it turns out lighter

You can find these anywhere. My cousin has really dark brown eyes and her colored contacts made them look a sparkly blue.

You can coloured contact lenses to change the shade or colour of your eyes. Google "coloured contact lenses" or ask an optician.
