I wasn't letting her hit me in the face because I had a church survice to go to the next day and the boxing glove may have left me with a bloody nose or something, so I just let her hit me in the body as much as she wanted. my neice is a great boxer with those gloves on and I don't understand why her parents got so upset? oh well, what do you guys think of the whole body shot ordeal?

haha i thought you meant alcohol body shots...i was like whoa.
but why would they be mad if you didn't care? its' your body. but their her parents so they kind of have the final authority. they probably didn't want her to think it was ok to hit someone else just because they wanted to!

Her parents got upset because you were teaching their daughter to be physically aggressive. That isn't what most parents want their daughters to be. They probably would not have said anything if their daughter had been a son. Most parents don't want their daughters to act like little tomboys. They were probably also concerned because they didn't want you to accidentally hurt their daughter. I know your niece was just taking shots at you, but that wasn't what it looked to her parents. Get one of those bubble-making machines and make bubbles with your niece. Do something that doesn't involve so much physical abuse. You don't want to teach your niece that it's fine to go around punching people.

They probably don't like the fact that you are allowing her to express any emotions or think that hitting and such is exceptable. Especially if they stepped in on it in the middle of the ordeal or don't know the whole story or just don't believe you.

If you're 22 year's old it should not hurt that bad!
Who cares...she's your niece.

Im geussing that they get upset because shes a girl and "girls arent supposed to fight" its a "boy thing". Me and brother used to do it all the, but we just used winter gloves and beat eachother. But we were at the age that my parents said, you get it hurt its your fault.

I think that if you consented for her to do that then it's fine and her parents just probably took it the wrong way. Just explain to them that you were letting her practice boxing and she wasn't hurting you.

Seems fine to me. She had gloves on so she wasnt really touching you and im assuming you were fully clothed? Seems like they over reacted.

Why are her parents so sensitve to the sexiness of a mans body? Maybe they think you were trying to molest her or something.
