You have adware. Download the program adaware and see if it helps.

You picked up some spyware which is causing the problem.

Grab spybot s&d or similar freeware removal tool. Once you get it straightened out then to protect yourself.....If you use IE6 then disable active-x controls whenever you navigate to a suspicious site or upgrade to version 7 for better controls. Alternatively, you could grab a more secure browswer like Opera....that will prevent the bulk of the problems.

First, look for viruses of all sorts. The problem could be due to the things you are looking for. Try searching another word or phase. If these work then it is what you are looking for. You could try ask.com to search for something too.

This will help, instead of typing in 'guitar tabs' try 'guitar tabs site' you will get a list from the sites to choose. I tried this already and it works.

Hi. You probably have BHO, or Browser Helper (or Hijacking) Object. There are scans. I'll find one and post it... http://www.sharewareplaza.com/BhoScanner-download_24693.html
This one is free. Copy and paste it into your URL window. Good luck!
