What makes you, you?

Not in general, I'm talking about YOU!

What makes you unique from the other 6 billion people on this planet?

Well, I am me due to the fact that I am aware of being my self...I don't know for sure what could make me think I am unique, other than I am the only person I am (well, I think).

Other than the fact that I've never existed before, nor will ever exist again?

There's that one thing called awareness. I'm the only one with my own particular awareness. Nobody shares that. It's all in my head, and no one else can get in, nor can I get in anyone else's.

Or, to be more specific on individuality, if a different sperm had reached the same egg of my mother, or a different egg with the actual sperm that resulted in me, I would never have existed.

It's just that random, and what I have is equal to what everyone else has, but I'm the only one who experiences my own. All of my experiences, perceptions, thoughts and assessments are unique to me and me alone. And becuase I'm shut out from directly experiencing anyone else's perspective, the result is a unique point of view, an individual character with a unique mixture of traits, aptitudes and memories.

I am me...unique me. My DNA structure is unlike any other person's which says who I am. No other thinks like me, has perfected being at all like me...my uniqueness comes from within my genes, DNA and viable parts. The sum total of my parents parts make me who I am. My parents genes make up my being ...they didn't make up a clone of me anywhere else.

Or were you wanting the fact that I am a giver not a taker.
I am a Christian not an atheist.
I am older not younger.
I am a published poet.
I am a trumpet player
I am a guitar player
and a few songs on the harmonica
I also play spoons
and the juice harp.....so way down the rode of existence with all of my parts making me this person...there is no other EXACTLY like me because I am not an identical twin.

The way I look at things in life. How I believe hearing people's side of the story before assuming they are a bad person and try to be optimistic.
I continue following my cultural backgrounds from my native country of Italy.
I make goals and have dreams that I believe and try to follow instead of making excuses and dreading on the past.
I learn from mistakes, no fear to fail, and I get over regrets quick.
My biggest audience for public speaking was 1,000 people not including ESPN2 who was taping it live. Most people are more scared of public speaking than death. I enjoy it!
I've done so much in life and appreciate every moment. A lot of people (especially Americans) cant it for granted.
If you hang out with me for one day you will leave with a smile on your face and say "I feel like I've known you for years" cause that's what everyone says about me. I look at the glass have full and can make the most depressed person laugh.

Don't know exactly, but I think it has something to do with my fiery Irish temper !! I'm an extremely patient person but when I snap it's not attractive.................... maybe that's the whole point, regardless of obvious or impending danger, notwithstanding mortal fear and terror, I will stand up to the line with my chin defiantly in the air each and every single time I believe an injustice is being perpetrated. Guess I'm just stubborn as an ox........ :0)
