are so concerned about me when I have a problem yet they never bother to call me to see how I been feeling. I just don't trust people anymore should I just ditch my friends. They claim they care about me but they mock me or be condescending. I just told one of my friends that everytime they call me when they have problems I listen with care, but when I have problems they start talking down to me. I told him last night if you want to call me and talk stop disrepecting me and stop gossiping about me and my issues. That is a worse thing to do. I am better off talking to my betta fish than with my friends.

SOUNDS to me like you have them figured out, with the right idea how to handle them,we always called those kind of people fair weather friends, only around when they need or want something from you,you have them fig8urd out, just stick to your guns and put them in their place,

i would quit confiding in your friends. stop talking about what's wrong and maybe you'll get their attention. if you do, you can tell them you were tired of being mocked.

you don't have to let them dump on you either...it may make them feel better, but hasn't done you any good. don't need to be rude, just say, you've got a lot on your mind and gotta go.

friends listen to others, are empathetic and don't offer advice unless it's asked for. your friends don't sound mature enough to do that so don't discuss problems with them. chat about other stuff or find other friends.

If you're friends can't/won't listen to your problems, but you'll help them with theirs, it may be time for new friends. Some people are good to hang out with, but true friends will help you out in any way they can.

i is hard finding true friends. you need to find really good friends. it might take awhile, but it will be worth it. when i was growing up i had good friends. i had two really good friends that lived on the poor farm, ( a place where people lived that were really poor). my brother made fun of me, but i would not have traded my friends for his so called wealthy friends for anything. i always went my own way, but i had friends that really cared for me. thanks.

sounds like you`ve made up your mind with that last sentence you`ve posted. you`re right, you can do better off without them.
get better friends, you seriously don`t need those friends
who aren`t even real friends.
