i don't prefer one to the other, but i do prefer certain qualities in both.
what i like about men is that:
*they are physically strong
*they have stubble/beards that feel good against my skin
*without getting too graphic...a man fits me anatomically, during love making - which is very very good
*men can be protective, which is a certain type of nuturing quality i really enjoy
*men like the same kind of stuff that i like: getting sweaty, weightlifting, cool action movies, cars, and...women
*they have wonderful, deep, resonant voices. i'm a sucker for a deep voice.
i appreciate the masculinity of a man. not the macho-ness, but the fact that a man is a man. it's a little hard to describe.
what i like about women...ooh, this is fun:
*they are sensitive. they listen.
*they are soft, and softness against softness feels nice.
*a woman can understand me as a woman. she has been through what i've been through. she is me...in a poetic sense.
*a woman can be tough (like trinity in the matrix) and womanly at the same time. i really dig that. few men are comfortable being earthy/soft and being their masculine selves at the same time.
women who are proud, strong, and beautiful make me feel joyful. i don't get the same feeling about men who are doing well. it's sort of a "go girl" type of thing.
and this is just scratching the surface. but thanks for asking this question.

I am a guy I like guys because guys know what guys like and guy don't get knocked up and guys are also less likely to talk about sleeping with their guy friends. Anyone comin' over?
