assonance (repetition of vowel sounds) goes along with alliteration.
meter
hyperbole
allegory
couplets
poetic diction
enjambment
free verse (might be something you'd see more often in popular music lyrics)
LoL the list goes on and on...
many different types of rhyming, internal, end, slant/eye, masculine or feminine rhyme
personification
tone
imagery
prosopopoeia
sestet and octave
synaesthesia
