Personally, I like the guy and think he's a great filmmaker. That said, I take some of what he says with a large pinch of salt - but I find his movies interesting and I think he's good at heart. He's standing up for what he believes in, which in my opinion is very important.

SF: Thanks for responding. I'm not arrogant enough to call anyone else "feeble-minded".
I agree that Moore gets very passionate about what he believes, and needs to be more objective.

In response to "~(*¿*)~" (great username by the way): you know absolutely nothing about me or my politics, and your incorrect assumption says a hell more about your prejudices than it does about the subject of the question.

We need more of these types of documentaries.
We are in a rut, we don't become passionate about anything anymore. We no longer have "movements", merely "moments" a single day or event where we can motivate ourselves to speak out against injutstices to us, or address a global issue. Documentaries are necessary for this generation, where our parents and grandparents would mobilise and march for months or years until an issue was addressed, our only wapon anymore is a wave of condemnation that comes on the back of being sat down and told things we hadn't thought of before.
Michael Moore made people agrreable to this practice, and aside form his movies he's helped make films such as Super Size Me and An Inconvenient Truth be the successes they were, and the changes they are inspiring.

Measuring the penis when it isn't erect is pointless, since the length and bulk are affected by various temporary factors, such as the ambient temperature. Even the largest male organ can shrink to virtually nothing if the man goes for a swim in cold water. However, at normal temperatures a non-erect p enis usually measures between 8.5 cm and 10.5 cm (3-4 inches) from tip to base.

The average figure is about 9.5 cm (3.75 inches). Of course, it's true that some men have big penises and some have smaller ones, just as some men have small feet and some have big feet, but the measurement is not – repeat not – an index of virility.

not sure. he's good at heart, i know that, but he's still a filmmaker. and as a filmmaker, his job is to make money for his investors, which are primarily liberal bigwigs. his films may be documentaries, but that doesn't mean they're true. that's the problem with people these days falling in to his dogma. he's in creative control of his movies; he can bend the truth and omit important facts that don't further his side of things, he can do whatever he wants.

If he does lie in his documentaries (and I'm not saying he does - exaggerates for comic effect more like) then he's actually doing us a great favour by balancing out all the lies the Bush administration have told since they came to power.
Compared to some of the satirical comedy shows we've had in the UK, like Spitting Image or Bremner, Bird and Fortune, Moore's documentaries are not even that hard hitting or contentious.

He's a bit too passionate and not so subjective. It's not really the best way to present the facts. You'll always look biased and I think you should let the auduence make up their own minds if you're confident that what you're presenting to them is the truth.

in case you imagine well being care contained in the rustic is undesirable now, wait till the authorities takes it over! i do not realize why this style of large volume of people are keen for the authorities to enhance its involvement in well being care. this style of bypass would bring about higher prices and worse consequences. At most suitable, public well being care would carry out besides as public education -- which suits properly in wealthier aspects, yet is little better than warehousing in a great number of inner cities. it would properly be as undesirable as public housing, which maximum common people note of as an synthetic disaster. It takes a Kool-help drinker like Michael Moore to believe that Cuba is the paradise that Castro touts. (i do not advise to denigrate the efforts of Cuba's medical doctors, who make do with far fewer aspects than medical doctors contained in the rustic or Western Europe.) the rustic is meant to provide equivalent danger, no longer equivalent consequences. the merely way all of us is equivalent is that if all of us is in poverty. all of us except the authorities leaders and their kin and cronies, of route!

Be hyper-critical of any politically motivated film. Michael Moore is a great example of how creative editing can cast a completely different complexion on what people have said.
He basically could have written a script for them all to read from. Only the truly feeble-minded are taken in by it.

Deliberately sensationalist most of the time.
There are some good points raised in them though.
I dont believe going to Charlton Heston's Home and brandishing a picture of a child shot with a gun will change anything.
