if you are burning an MP3 cd you can burn it in the form of a data disc and you can burn about 6 or 7 albums on there

Convert the songs to MP3 and put them on
as data.
If you have a DVD burner, you can easily
burn 1500 MP3's and more onto one 4.7 disc.
Tip: Put them on at the slowest speed possible
(2.4) if your burner will let you.
This makes the player pickup the songs more
consistently.

Make sure you close them out with the option
to open on any player.
