Yes, I did. I discovered a love of being outside and observing what was around me.

I also "discovered" shoving a stick into a badger den is an exceedingly BAD idea. They seem to take it very personally whether they are actually in there or not.

Yes as a matter of fact I did play in the woods when I was a kid. And lucky me, I discovered poison ivy. The rash was all over my hands & legs. It was really very unpleasant.

There were woods down the street from my house. We lived in a nice neighborhood. It was only about an acre of trees (not really "woods") but we had the most fun playing in there. We had a trail that we would ride our go-cart on. It was hilly and when it rained it got really muddy. It was a blast.

Oh yes it was like a fairy tale type of play. We had some pretty amazing trees and some I considered castles. I had a huge imagination as a child

I used to play in a graveyard...there wasn't any headstones, there was just one big memorial cross for all the war heroes but all the kids used to run around climbing the trees and stuff

Yes behind our house was a woods of all pines. The least amount of wind would really sound spooky to us kids. My mom would fix us a picnic lunch to take to the pines, loved it. Ah memories.
