I started at age 9. But I was also the granddaughter of a pastor and wearing skirts with heels was expected in my community. Also, this was in the south where things tend to be more formal. I feel the girls maturity will dictate when she starts wearing heels. A lot of my friends who started in 11th and 12th grades walk like ducks. When you start, practice at home with a book on top of your head for balance. And despite what you see Paris, Britney, and Lindsey doing on the red carpet, wear hosiery with your skirts and heels!!! Unless it's a demin or other casual fabric, panty hose are a must! Height doesn't matter, sweetheart. No matter what your height is, stand tall and wear whatever you feel looks good with your outfit. Short and tall men will notice your confidence.

I would say that you should start practicing with a kitten heel (baby heels two inches or less) while you're at home now,so that way you can work your way up to those 6 inch stilettos by the time you're 16 or 17! But if you already know how to walk in them, I would say 16 would be a good age. And no honey, you are never too tall or too short to wear heels! My best friend is 6'1 and wears high stiletto heels!

The younger you start wearing heals, the better you'll be able to walk in them. I'd say 14 is a good age to start wearing them, but only on appropriate occassions (not school) with a short heel. Wait till you're older to break out the stilletoes! I'd say about 16 or 17; save enough time to practice walking in them for prom.

it truly is extra useful firstly 12 or 13 with a average heel height of two" and develop the height step by step so that you're used to higher heels with 16 and four" are tender. A mistake is to start up right now with 3 or 4" stilettos in case you at the on the spot are not used to extreme heels in any respect. that is going to purely take couple of minutes til your ft sense sore and painful then. significant is to purchase heels that in advantageous condition fairly properly, which have sufficient room on your ft and the heel must be reliable. In lower priced low high quality heels you ft will damage swifter then in properly setting up impressive stilettos.

hhmm.. good question. I work in a shoe store and I have never thought about that. I personally thought, if you are able to walk in them and your parental are ok with it, then i think u can wear them. and there is nothing wrong being 5-8 and wearing heels. Heels make an outfit look so good and show off those sexy legs.

I started wearing mini heels at 12 & then graduated to a mid heel in high school. Actually it depends on what your parents & you decide. You can wear heels at any height.
