Go for it!!!Wish I could be there!
I lived in Indiana and had no idea you couldn't buy alcohol on a Sunday. My mom was visiting from California and tried to buy a bottle of wine on a Sunday and was basically looked down on. We only wanted a bottle of wine for her birthday dinner. I don't know if these are old laws or new, but I am very surprised that they are in affect today. This does seem like a law stemming from religious beliefs. One more reason to have a drink and separate church and state. Good luck!

You're the wack job... (not trying to be "mean"...just realistic here)
First of all, try purchasing your "beer" prior to Sunday since you know that your county doesn't sell it on Sunday. How difficult is that?
Second, you have to apply for and receive a liqour license to "serve" alcohol and it must be in the establishment and in the manner which you have been given permission.
Third, maybe if you stopped drinking so much beer you may already have figured out that if you attempt to do this, your butt will be in jail while everyone else is doing their thing in church..... or wherever.

A dry county and one that prohibits the sale of alcohol on Sunday are two different things. A dry county is one where it is illegal every day.

That depends on the county in which you live and the way that the statute is written. In most it is indeed illegal because there doesn't have to be any exchange of $$$ to be a "sale". I suggest you call the county clerk and ask.

I believe most laws only forbid the sale of alcohol on Sunday, not its consumption. This should be completely legal.

except there are law enforcement officers on patrol or fairly anal electorate, i do no longer think of everybody will bust you for having a tumbler of wine including your picnic lunch even no count if it fairly is technically unlawful (in spite of the certainty that issues could be stricter in KC, i do no longer understand). yet you could desire to constantly attempt putting it in a thermos or Nalgene so it incredibly is no longer as obtrusive.
