They went Undefeated in the conference and only 4 losses....is there a crack for them with UNC, UCLA, Big Ten schools showing vulnerability....

They have zero chance of winning it all. They do have a chance to maybe win a game or two depending on their draw, but no way will they win it all. They are no longer a team that is sneaking up on teams. Teams know that winthrop is for real and they will take the practices leading up to that game very seriously. They almost snuck up on tennessee last year if it wasn't for chris lofton, but not this year.

Huge Winthrop fan here - what a great season!!!. Realistically, they will have a tough time winning the whole thing, but the sweet 16 is surely within reach. They play tremendous defense and will be a tough 1st round opponent for whoever draws them. Go Eagles!!!

No. Who cares if they went undefeated in their conference. That's like saying Boise Sate would win the National Championship in football cause they went undefeated in their conference.

They could win a game or two but winning the tournament no. There are too many marquee teams out there who have played a tougher schedule than them and eventually that will play out.

Is this some kind of joke?lol. They will be lucky to get out of the first round. They are only good in their conference because the teams suck. Same with Memphis. There conference isn;t any good, so they are overlooked.
