I have two ten gallon tanks but I would love to put them together into one. It is not for fish. I want to expand my hermit crab tank. How can I do it? Or is it better just to spend the $27 at Petsmart for the 20-gallon tank? ;-) Thanks for any help!

I think you are better off buying a new 20 gallon tank. If you go ahead with gluing the 2 ten gallons, you will end up spending the money and you will likely be unsatisfied with the results.

It's far better to just buy the new tank. Putting the two tanks together would be hard at best and they would never hold water properly if you ever wanted to use them for fish.

I guess you could take off all the silicone and take out a pane of glass and resilicone it, but it would be way easier to get a 20 gallon, you wont have sand falling out

u can as long as it won't leak. tried it once but i failed, just buy a new tank it would be much better but if u really want to glue it u can try, there is no harm, except your tank may get destroyed.

You can't. I know it sucks. It would just break in cold weather or something just spend the $27 LOL
