it is a sport. it's a team sport. very competitive, in fact. i don't know about scholarships like other sports, but it is a sport.

I definetly think cheerleading is a sport. At first i didnt, but then I met my best friend and shes a cheerleader and she says that its tough and a lot of hard work.

Yes it is a sport. I should know because I've been doing it for about 2 1/2 years and I made the squad on my team yesterday for my school. I still go to my gym and I'm gonna for school and the funny thing is im going to camp at my gym for my school! It's going to be so much fun!

Of course it is!!! Even for guys! I have guys on my team but that doesn't mean they're gay. They are just as athletic as football players or any other male sport. And people who don't think it's a sport well lets see you try to do a round off back handspring tuck.

i think for girls it is a sport but for guys it's just goss
