Nobody says "I think I'll make a stupid decision today." Usually it is the opposite, they don't give it any thought, they just do it. And then some people aren't too smart and they get duped by somebody else and get their money taken or get roped into some contract they don't understand or don't read. Also sometimes you make a decision that seeems the right one at the time with your limited knowledge of the circumstances and it turns out to be a stupid one. So these are some of the ways people make stupid decisions.. But every person on earth has made some wrong decision in their life.

Maybe is relative, depending of the view of the person who evaluate the fact. Some decision can be a correct guess to one person, but their consequences can affect the intereses of another, so for this last person such decision can appear like a stupid decision.

Being female is one good reason but mostly haste and inexperience. Mind you, if you walk through any town centre and look at people these days it's difficult to imagine anyone can make any sort of decision, right or wrong. Society is turning into cess pit and the thick head is king.

Stupid decisions are caused by the 'stupid gene' which is directly linked to the 'override cell' at the back of the brain which is generally disfunctional on most humans hence causing much diversity and general fun in the human race and wouldn't life be boring without it. :-)

it's just being human, thats why we are hear. we need to learn from our stupid decisions. but sometimes stupid decisions can mess a person up for a lifetime. it's a long and complicate subject to talk about and very detailed but it is just life.

Its a problem with school education. We don't actually learn how to think so we have no training in how to make the right descisions.
