Personally I enjoyed watching it although it did get a bit draughty with the back door open and closed for an hour!!

I'm sure I once heard that a "black moon" was a bad omen.

Fortunatly, I believe we make our own luck.

I am pretty sure that lunar eclipses are not unlucky, although it could feel like it for some people because it could look and feel maybe a little bit scary; like primitive feelings ´the sky light going out´ or something like that.

Actually it was last night also a full moon and when eclipsing it is considered to be extra double intense full moon by astrologist, and I think that could be said to be very lucky. Unless of course if the full moons usually affect you unfavorably anyway.

I think the term "black moon" refers to the moon phase between old and new moon when there is no moon visible on the sky. And that is considered to be unlucky or unfavorable time by some people.

No eclipses are unclucky , they are only unlucky if u are watching it under an evil presence like , where someone was killed hundred's of years ago , or something like that , if it is said 2 be cursed
