I find that people, males and females alike seem to avoid me. I find that they have a difficult time looking me in the eye when I speak to them and their body language indicates that they appear very uncomfortable. But usually if they get to know me better everything is normal. What am I doing to make these people feel uncomfortable around me?When I look them in the eye, could l possibly look angry. I've never been called ugly and actually alot of women think i'm hot but why can't people look at me?

maybe you are just so hot it is hard to be around you....sometimes i do act that way when someone is mass hot...or maybe you are intimidating, i suppose you could be really ugly it is possible but most likely you are not fugly...send me a pic ill tell u the truth

Maybe the intense eye contact is nerve wracking to them. If your fairly good looking and not like a monster, there isnt a reason they would be uncomfortable. Maybe you being uncomfortable is giving an uncomfortable vibe, or the tone of your voice and probably how you feel shows them.

First you need to remember that looks are not everything....and it gets people nervous when you catch them looking at you first. They are probably intimidated by you, but that is sometimes a good thing.... they can be a bit scared of you at first and thats why they later on talk to you normal because they realize they were wrong.. It's all intimidation. A lot of guys would be too scared to talk to me sometimes to ask me out because they thought I would just smack them. It's the vibe you give out to the people. Perhaps be a little more subtle or care free. Good luck.

probably because you are hot unless your face is disfigured people will only have trouble looking at you because they were intimidated! If you were ugly they would find it easier to look you in the face also I think if you were ugly someone would have told you, you were by now as people are cruel like that. Also if you were ugly I think you would definately know it yourself so you don't have anything to worry about. You should take it as a compliment, your pretty and that makes people uneasy because of their insecurities so they find it hard to look you in the eye!

It is possible that you are giving off an expression or something about your eyes comes off in a way you do not intend.
I have frightened most everyone who has had to wake me in the morning. I have no idea what expression I give off. Wish I had a snap shot of myself when I wake.
Since you think it might be something when you are speaking, try reenacting a conversation in a mirror. Perhaps someone in your family or close to you would be honest if you asked them.

Could it be that it's not your piercing stare that makes them uncomfortable, but rather halitosis? I know this guy, not bad to look at, very intelligent to listen to, but I can't bear to be near him because his bad breath knocks me right over! Haven't found a polite way to tell him, so he must think similar to what you're experiencing. Halitosis is, by the way, treatable.
Just a thought.

try brushing your teeth and useing mouth wash or maybe buy a slightly more expensive cologne and use less some folkes get too close when they talk and that turns folks off if they dont know you leave a good space till they do know you or take a dance lesson for confidance building for men it makes you more attractive as movement out of bed is translated by females as good in bed

no one is ugly. everyone is beautiful in some way.
Well, when talking to someone looking into their eye will make them feel as if they are conquered.
But looking elsewhere will make matters worse.
Best thing to do is talk something which will make he/she be relaxed.
usually jokes work.

tape yourself. it is a really good to see what you really looks like. maybe you are like me and don't have a friendly smile and that is what makes people unconfortable
go play a computer game and leave the cam on. you will be surprised how you "really" look when you laugh or when you are angry
