I have a 1973 Dodge Dart, im thinking of adding one of those "air-intake-outside-of-the-engine-through-the-hood"-thingys... where do i purshase on for my car and how do i install it?

You have to cut a hole in your hood so you can bolt the scoop directly on the air filter.
Try eBay.

Pick up a few Mopar magazines and check the adds, there are a handful of businesses that will offer them, and or get involved with a Mopar club and ask members for help. I have seen them on eBay..search...shaker scoop.

Once you get the parts check some body shops or club members for installation.

good luck finding the shaker scoop and if you do be prepared to have all your pockets full of 50 dollar bills and if you do get one you will have to have a bodyshop cut the hole in your hood so the scoop will fit properly when you close the hood.

if u look on engine parts on ebay. a lot of times they are piece of s*@#. go to jeggs.com then go to hotrodmagazine.com they can tell you everything you can do to your doge dart.

their widespread for leaking around the windshield wiper shaft seals & ultimately rotting the floor out so replace them. additionally examine to make constructive your cover drain hose isn't stopped up.
